I am 16 years out from a roux en y bypass. I have gained a hundred pounds back, but still am 95 pounds less than my starting point. I have always had issues surgery wise, as I still have a hole where my incision was and it only recently stopped leaking. I also have a hernia on my incision line. I'm a mess. I would like to have my hernia fixed and a revision done at the same time. Anyone been in this boat?

I need total hip replacement on my left hip, it is bone one bone severe arthritis. I have seen a couple of orthopedic surgeons in our area (northern Michigan--Traverse City, Charlevoix area) and they will not perform the surgery for me until my BMI is 40 or below. Whats worked for me more then any diet or plan is portion control and eating good nutritious food and moving doing anything like walking or whatever you like to do has exercise.
First work out what food you enjoy then plan round that as for me I make sure I have 3 meals a day for breakfast I have either weetabix,fruit or porridge

First find a doctor who deals with weight loss issues talk to him/her about option for surgery I'm having the same problems.
Go brush your teeth, read a book, do your nails, clean the kitchen from top to bottom, then think It's clean I'm not going to mess it up!
