Has anyone (besides me) gained a trillion pounds after taking Heart and Cholesterol medicine? My Cardiologist acts like I'm nuts when I say my weight goes up every time I'm put on a new medicine and tells me neither one cause weight gain. I have gained 50 lbs in 11 years on this stuff. Does anyone else have the same problem? Or am I truly crazy? And if you have the same problem, what have you found to help? (I walk on the treadmill and lift weights already) Thank you...
I try to stay active everyday.
I am 6.1ft and weigh 401lbs
My daily diet consists of:
10 glasses of water
Morning - Oats / Muesli & Yogurt
Lunch - Chicken Breast / Fish with Steamed Veg
Dinner - 3 Cracker bread / Rice Cakes with Plain Cottage cheese and cucumber
I train 5 days per week. Each session would be:
10min Treadmill Walk (1/2 mile)
10min Row
10min upright cycle (3.5 miles)

In Total if I add up what the machines tell me I burn +- 400 Calories per session.

Hi...I'm wondering how frequently I should be weighing myself...and does it matter if it's morning or night?...
Monthly. The first Monday of each new month. Weigh and measure.
I have arthritis in my back that has been treated with injections. I've even had the nerve endings in the L3-L5 region in my back burned and had a cortisol shot in my s1 region. The swelling is gone, but not the pain. My knees have been left untreated. The pain gets unbearable at times, but my doctor only says lose weight. I've told her several times that I'm usually an active person, but pain makes me not want to be active. I need relief. Any suggestions. I've already considered… read more

Hi there
I have not been on this site for a while, but have missed it. My mom was sick, and passed away in January of this year. I am not good AT ALL at loving myself. I love others, and want nothing but good for them, but I tend to sabotage myself. I would like to keep in touch with others who might be feeling the same way. I am 53, weigh 240, and I’m only 5’3” tall. I feel like I’m older than I really am. I am premenopausal, and that’s not helping me any. I want to be positive for… read more

Welcome back
Sorry for your loss
Yes Thanksgiving is in November but we're supposed to be doing a LIFESTYLE CHANGE!! This would be a great time to get through temptation.
Does anyone want to try the challenge or add some ideas to it?
Thanks
Hi fedup15Granny!!
How are you doing? Welcome back! That's what we're all going to do....try!! 😊 It better to try than to quit!! Guess what? You're back and that means alot.
Everyone would stick to their Lifestyle Change routine but at anytime, anyone that is doing the challenge with us can pop a question to keep us on our toes.
Examples could be:
Did you walk today? If so how much?
How many ounces of water have you drunk?
How many steps have you taken so far?
What is your pain scale today?
How are you emotionally feeling today?
(The last 2 questions relate a lot to our eating)
If we’re on point, then we’ll get messaged good job! Keep up the good work!
If… read more
