@A MyObesityTeam Member. I had the RNY BYPASS. I'm 12yrs post op. I would do it again in a heartbeat. I was on 7 meds( MAX DOSES) for diabetes, cholesterol, blood pressure. I was 40 old. My doctor said " YOU WILL NOT SEE 41" . It "woke me up" . Back then ..We HAD a hell of a time getting approved...now it's "easy" ...Now, I'm in the Struggle of the "skin removal" ...INS. says it's "cosmetic" ...it AINT!!..But that's another discussion. Good luck on your journey...WE'RE ALL IN THIS TOGETHER ❤

MY doctor wants me to look into this surgery also as much as I fight it I might look into it for my health sakes. I have type 2 diabetes and my insurance will cover that i just need to find a surgeon close by.

I have had this surgery and am fine. I have lost a lot of weight but have a long way to go. Here it is a long process and you must go through many tests mental and physical.
