I was told that this was the safest way to go having a sleeve. Well it was a nightmare in 2011 my stomach ruptured , I lost over a gallon in a half of blood, I have a leak between my spleen and lung, I have had 34 surgeries procedures, 3 blood transfusions, perforated esophagus, permanent nerve damage, blood clot in my leg. Hospitalized for 3 months and home on TPN for almost a yr. Getting ready for another surgery to try to close the hole. I vomit almost every other day and have excruciating pain every 6-8 weeks. I almost lost my life on 3 occasions. If I had it to do over again I wouldn't. I would really try harder at exercising and change my eating habits.

I had the sleeve 6 years ago and it caused me acid reflux. I'm now going to have hiatal hernia with the by pass. I lost on the sleeve 97 lbs and only gain 9 . If I had to do it again I would do the by pass
