How Do You Encourage/motivate Yourself To Try Again?
A MyObesityTeam Member asked a question 💭

I was doing so well with my weight loss. Actually loss 40+ pounds with nothing but the gym and food regulation. Then a series of events took place that made it impossible to continue my three day a week routine. Yes my family makes sure that I have a car available on Tuesdays and Thursdays but what they don't understand is that because those are the only days I have the car, all of my appointments etc must be scheduled on those days so I can't get back to my class. I am so very discouraged. It… read more

Anyone Else Have Issues With Arch, Heel, Knee, And Shin Pain?
A MyObesityTeam Member asked a question 💭

I've had issues with arch and heel pain since I was 150lbs and about 31-32% body fat. While I wasn't obese, I was overweight then. I'm currently 170lbs and 34-35% body fat according to calipers. I'm considered obese. I was 182lbs and 36% body fat back in early Febuary. Due to my low arches on my feet, if I stand for a long period of time, I get sharp and stabbing pain in my arches, heels, balls of my feet, and sometimes it extends to my knees and shins. In 2020- early 2022, it only did so in my… read more

How Do I Stop Emotional Eating?
A MyObesityTeam Member asked a question 💭

I eat when I am bored, I eat when I am tired, I eat when I am frustrated. I am constantly eating for reasons other than hunger. How do I stop? It's like it just slips under my radar and next thing I know, I have polished off a whole pie, or cookies or bag of potato chips.

Undereating
A MyObesityTeam Member asked a question 💭

People always think that because you're overweight that means you overeat. My doctor has actually told me that I need to eat more, but I don't normally have an appetite. I need meal suggestions to help increase my food intake. What can I do? Eating when I'm not hungry makes me nauseous, and my meds suggest I eat.
