My personal favorite ;

Low/Non fat frozen yogurt (vanilla)
1 cup to 1 and 1/2 cup skim milk/almond milk/coconut milk
2 Tblspn peanut butter or wowbutter (if your allergic to peanuts)
1 scoop of protein powder (not required but it makes me feel full)
fruit of your choosing (frozen is best and just enough to add to the vanilla flavour)

Blend for 30 to 60 seconds pour into large cup and enjoy

Diabetic breakfast smoothie
INGREDIENTS
3/4 cup frozen mixed berries
2 scoops protein powder
1/2 cup desiccated
coconut
1 cup almond milk - or use coconut milk
1 Tablespoon flaxseed oil - or olive oil
1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
5-10 drops liquid stevia - optional for extra sweetness
1/4 cup Water - if it's too thick for your liking
INSTRUCTIONS
Place everything into a blender and blend until smooth.
Pour into a glass and you're good to go.
RECIPE NOTES
Alterations
Skip the berries and make a nutty smoothie with a tablespoon of peanut butter
Spice it up with different spices - nutmeg, cloves

i use a whey base protein power use just a scoop with 4 oz of water or skim milk ice and i buy the frozen strawberries and blueberries or even tropical mixed fruit found in most freezer section .they taste great
