I Find Myself Not Going Anywhere Because I'll Be The Fattest Person In The Room
A MyObesityTeam Member asked a question 💭

It's been a long time since I have seen someone as large as me in the same room. Lots of times I will just stay at home because I'll be the only fat person in the restaurant and I feel ashamed to order food.

It can be really hard and embarrassing to order when your the biggest person, i always had my parents order for me until i realized tge person who took my order didnt care, theyre just doing their job. Get what you want and love and if you want to eat something a little cheaty then do it. Or if you want that salad get it. You do you boo.

Just make yourself look bomb. Glam yourself up, and feel confident. Enhance your assets. Once you feel like a rockstar, it's hard to knock you down. I'm a shy introvert with weight issues, and a too cute partner. But when I wear my favorite outfit, or butt hugging jeans, I feel sexy at home. I take that feeling outside, and try to avoid full body reflections (I think I'm smaller than I am, internal view). If someone says something, or looks at me, I just remember how cute I looked before I left the house and it keeps me going. I know I'm cute, and that's what matters.

a little off topic but I don't have any trouble going anywhere (& meeting new people) at my weight. I have even had my counselor AND a friend tell me "so you have no embarassment issues?" I don't! There's always another big person wherever I go. I don't want to miss out on anything fun. Staying home is not fun.

Yes people are so cruel Paisley you should've asked her what are you a beauty queen and left it at that I guess since I have had a lot of counseling I've got stronger I've noticed
