I have been diagnosed with severe arthritis in both knees normal activities are very difficult because of the pain and swelling looking for an over-the-counter pain relieving gel

I am sorry I don't know--is it possible these would help:

stretching exercises
ice packs
heating pad
warm showers
manage stress
no smoking
an anti-inflammatory diet

plant-based diet is a diet consisting mostly or entirely of plant-based foods.
