Im on GLP and I have a support community on Reddit who are also on wegovy. For many of us the weight comes off slow for the first three months then at the 4th month it starts coming off a little faster. Like 8 Lbs over three months seems to be the concensus. The best results usually when you reach top dose of 25mg. It is a bit inconvenient because you must take the pill on a fasted stsate. Take it upon waking up with 1/4 of water then wait at least 30 minutes before drinking or eating anything. You must also change eating habits and exercise every day. I have joined a nutritional class group offered by my insurance the group is led by dietitians and is 6 months long.

There are several reasons why Mounjaro (tirzepatide) might not seem to be working as expected for weight management. It's a common concern, and you're definitely not alone in wondering about this.

Here are some of the most common reasons it may feel less effective:

- Dose too low — Mounjaro is started at a low dose and gradually increased. It may not feel effective until you reach the right dose for your body.
- Plateau effect — Weight loss can slow or stall over time, even if the medication is still working.
- Diet and lifestyle — Mounjaro works best alongside healthy eating habits and regular movement. Without those, results can be limited.
- Individual biology — Everyone's body responds differently to medication. Genetics and metabolism play a role.
- Injection technique — If the medication isn't injected correctly, it may not absorb properly.
- Storage issues — Mounjaro must be kept refrigerated. If it's been exposed to heat or frozen, it may lose effectiveness.

If it feels like Mounjaro isn't working, the best step is to have an open conversation with your doctor. They can review your dose, lifestyle factors, and overall treatment plan to figure out the best path forward.
