Members bonded over feeling addicted to specific foods, particularly chips, bread, cookies, chocolate, and ice cream, with many recognizing the struggle of resisting these cravings. Several members shared practical strategies including not keeping tempting foods in the house, using small portion-control bowls or buying single-serve packages, replacing chips with lower-calorie alternatives like veggie straws or rice snacks, and eating before grocery shopping to avoid impulse purchases at the checkout. A recurring theme was the importance of allowing yourself to enjoy favorite foods in moderation rather than completely restricting them, while acknowledging that living fully in the present matters more than waiting until weight loss goals are achieved.

I started eating flavoured rice snacks, you get the crunch and some of the saltiness deppending what kind you choose. Also popcorn is a good replacement.

I do not keep any snack foods in the house that I like. My hubby lives on Doritos and oreos. I don't like either one. I also buy food that needs to be prepared and cooked. That way I have to think about it in stead of grabbing a bag of chips
