Markesan, WI

I believe I am looking for high protein and lower carbs. If anyone has something else to suggest feel free I am open to almost anything. But I am a very picky eater
Thanks

Members shared varied perspectives on daily carb and protein targets for someone seeking high protein and lower carbs, with recommendations ranging from under 50 carbs daily to 200 grams depending on dietary approach, and protein goals spanning 40 to 100 grams daily, with several emphasizing 60-70 grams as a solid baseline. Several members offered practical strategies including aiming for 30 grams of protein per meal, combining protein sources like chicken with seeds or legumes to improve absorption, choosing non-starchy vegetables over complex carbs, incorporating protein bars or shakes, and trying V8 juice for added vegetables and fiber. A recurring theme was that individual needs vary greatly based on body type, activity level, and whether someone follows a plant-based or animal-based diet, so working with a healthcare provider to find a personalized balance is essential.

I was told 30 gram of protein per meal as few carbs as possible lots of non starchy veggies and fruit to be minimal. As there is sugar and carbs in fruit.
