I have COPD also. If you are lucky and see a Pulmonologist see if their office can refer you to Pulmonary Rehab. They start out very slow with exercise on maybe 5 different machines, rubber bands. Then an hour of education. A Very good program. Their is also Silver Sneaks available in some areas for Medicare patients. However, when none of that is available, you should remember to start slow. Perhaps chair exercises which you can find on YouTube. Also rubber band exercises which are also found on the internet. Remember to just try not to exceed 30 minutes in the beginning. You can break that up into 10 minute sessions 3 times a day. Once that gets too easy you can increase your time and workout. Just remember it is about consistency and baby steps.
