Members shared a rich variety of ways they relieve daily stress, with prayer emerging as the most common practice, often paired with Bible reading or quiet reflection when feeling overwhelmed. Many members described hands-on creative activities that help them decompress, including cooking and baking without eating what they make, crocheting new stitches, doing latch hook rugs, playing piano, and even spending time on nails and makeup. Physical movement and sensory self-care were also recurring themes, with walking outdoors, yoga, meditation, listening to music through headphones, massages with natural pain relief creams, playing with pets, and spending time in nature all mentioned as powerful tools for releasing tension and finding calm.

A good prayer, a good walk outside in the fresh air and listening to my favorite music really helps me to unwind and deal with high stress.
