what can i do to keep weight off ive just started all fruits exercising everyday walking what else
Yes, I have gained about 80 pounds, and maybe a little more and more than once. I had my surgery in 2001, and it has been a constant struggle. The surgery is merely a tool to help us lose it and keep it off. We still have to be aware of calories and nutrition every day. This last spring I got real sick, and I couldn't beat it. After 3 months of suffering I figured that if my immune system could not take care of a simple virus, then I must really be unhealthy. This is when I realized that I needed to take control of what and how much I was eating. I finally admitted that I was addicted to carbs. I stopped eating the white, unhealthy carbs and, I started losing weight and feeling better. After a few weeks I stopped craving sugar, rice, pasta and bread. I have lost 33 pounds since then, and I have 34 more to go to be where my surgeon had told me was a good weight for me. Good luck to you, and never give up. You are worth it!
