to back up what Kris said - it may very well have to do with the artificial sweeteners - not an expert but my understanding is they are beginning to believe that artificial sweeteners cause your body to think it is getting sugar and REACT like it is getting sugar - but since it is not actually getting sugar it screws up the chemical process in your body. my current plan allows ONLY Stevia as a sweetener - it is a natural product - and it seems to be working - at this point in time I am down 110#. Oh - and my plan requires limiting caffien to 2 cups per day and NO bread so those carbs may be part of the problem as well

Artificial sweeteners are not good for you. Even if you drink diet soda still has a lot of bad stuff. Is your bread wheat or multigrain. Try Arnold's multigrain.

I have found that if you eliminate the diet sodas from your diet it helps with weight loss.
Diet soda and diet drinks such as crystal light has so many chemicals in them. These chemicals can mess with your system, and trick your mind and body that it's hungry. It's very difficult to ditch the soda. I did it by replacing one diet soda with water or fruit infused water such as fresh strawberries, lemon, mint, ect. I would do this for three to four days then replace another diet soda and so on. Pretty soon you are drinking a healthier drink, and not having tons of hunger pains.
