i have degenerative oa i am in pain all the time i take flexeral lyrica cantt get tramadol because of the opiode problem here i cant exercise all i can do is stay in bed
I here ya, I’m answering from my bed. I have did generative disc disease and sciatica on left and right side and chronic lower back pain . I’ve took water therapy that was helpful .. and lidocaine patches 5% I get from my doc. My doc also recommended chair yoga or chair exercises they have some on YouTube that may be helpful
I have bad arthritis in my hip and knee. I was in pain 90% of the time. I went to a pain specialist and got an injection and it worked. Dont know for how long but 80% of the pain is gone right now. Maybe look for a pain specialist near you.
Update: Ok so the shot lasted two and half months so this isn't a on going option for me. Doctor said it's too far gone and I have to have a hip replacement just don't know if I can afford it
i am still in pain i tried the shots but it only helped for 20 min and if i sit too long it kills my knees to get up i hate going to the store and standing in line because it kills my back i hate having a slip disc sometimes i just feel like staying in bed
I have it too, Basically I need a new body. I am so sorry for your pain, Even when I take pain meds they only help for about 20 minutes then mess with my head and leave me constipated. I am in a low place myself right now, but I know if I get up and move, do some yoga, and just walk, it helps me. Not perfect, but better. Some great, doable yoga videos on psychetruth.com. Good luck.
It is very interesting what you said about Tramadol. I pulled a muscle in my back recently and was given a med for the spasm and Tramadol HCL for the pain. The Doc told me that neither was an opioid and that it would not trigger my addictions. I have actually used the pain meds with no issues whatsoever. Now I am curious and concerned.
