Temptation
A MyObesityTeam Member asked a question 💭

I am addicted to food and there are times at work when its hard to get away from junk food. Whenever they have a potluck all the goodies that are leftover are left in the lunch room for all to see. So im eating healthy but im super tempted by the cake sitting right in front of me. Any suggestions as to what i can do so i dont eat the bad stuff? Also note there really isnt anywhere else i can go to have my meals

I bake, a lot. I make cookies, cake, brownies, etc. The exposure and effort has me repulsed. I rarely eat anything I bake, and the sickly sweet smell makes me crave cool, crisp veggies. It can be a risk though, as some people will just eat what they made.

I made a cherry pie once with dark chocolate on top. It was sickly sweet, and tasted like garbage. So if you can't stop from eating what you make, throw something in there you can't stand.
