Does Anyone Know How The DASH Diet Works? I’ve Been Trying To Find The Parameters Of It But Haven’t Found It Without Having To Pay For It?
A MyObesityTeam Member asked a question 💭

I have PCOS, Diabetes 2, fatty liver, and a lot of abdominal belly fat. I am looking for a meal plan that is actually sustainable to do with simple basic food menus that my husband, who has food texture problems and food allergies, can eat too.

You name the diet, I think I have tried it. I loose 10-20 lbs and then stop loosing weight. I get frustrated and end up giving up. So any suggestions?

The only way I lose is to weigh and measure my food. I keep track of how many calories I’m eating. For my body type I eat 1200 calories. Some start at 1300 or 1500 but adjust them lower after losing for awhile. Never go below 1200 is what my doctor and nutritionist says.

I have always had trouble with that but I think your right . I’ve got to do it to get a handle on how much I’m actually eating. Thanks!
