Can Anyone Suggest Rails Or Something That I Can Use To Help Stand Myself Up From A Sitting Position?
A MyObesityTeam Member asked a question 💭

I have severe issues with my knees and haven't been able to stand in over a year. I can sit on the side of the bed but I am.so terrified my knees are going to give out and I'm gonna fall. I can't live my life like this anymore!! I am a strong but broken person and I just want to be me again with no constraints.

I am so sorry Stacy--What about sturdy furniture positioned nearby you can lean on to pull yourself up? Would a strong cane work for one side?

In the shower we have a pull up bar--do you have a wall near the bed one could be installed?💕

I have a walker that I can use. Just need something to help me pull myself that is sturdier than a walker.
