I feel the same way it’s hard to get into the Christmas spirit when you’re missing a loved one. The celebrations and the the fun atmosphere during the holiday season just doesn’t feel the same anymore

Although this answer was helpful it's not what I'm actually feeling. I'm feeling how things have changed over time. How we use to celebrate Christmas and with all the decorations, singing songs. I guess I'm missing some family members who are no longer here that I did things with. My main or special person.

It sounds like you're feeling like something's missing from your holiday movie experience. That sense of emptiness or disconnect can be really common, especially during the holidays when emotions run high.

Sometimes stress, anxiety, or feeling overwhelmed can make it harder to enjoy things we usually love. The holidays can bring a lot of pressure, and it's completely normal to feel like something's off even when you're trying to relax.

If you're noticing this feeling more broadly in your life, it might be worth checking in with yourself about what emotions you're carrying right now. Are you stressed? Feeling isolated? Sometimes our minds tell us we're missing something when we're actually experiencing an emotional need that hasn't been addressed.

Being kind to yourself during this time is important. If the movies aren't hitting the spot, maybe there's another way to connect with what you need right now.
