Temptation

I am addicted to food and there are times at work when its hard to get away from junk food. Whenever they have a potluck all the goodies that are leftover are left in the lunch room for all to see. So im eating healthy but im super tempted by the cake sitting right in front of me. Any suggestions as to what i can do so i dont eat the bad stuff? Also note there really isnt anywhere else i can go to have my meals

Medicines for weight loss and depression and anxiety?

Im on wellbutrin and it is not helping with anything, its just making my depression, anxiety and weight gain worse than ever. I was wondering is there anything else that might help?

Does anyone else ever just not want to eat?

Does anyone else ever just not want to eat?

There are days sometimes multiple days in a row where nothing sound goods, I'm not hungry, and I could just care less about eating and have to almost force myself to eat. I hate feeling like this and dont know what to do and then usually eating a ton of junk cause it's easy to eat.

This really isn’t a question

I have never been a small lady but after I had my first child I never lost the weight then I went through a very bad divorce (abusive) . I choose to eat to cope with the stress .
I was staring to get back on track then I had a medical issue arise which involves me being put on a steroid which caused significant weight gain. I am now off that medication and I am at my heaviest . I am struggling as i struggle with severe asthma and allergies which on days can cause me to winded and… read more

Mine really isnt a question as much qs a statement. The Band does NOT reduce the size of your stomach!! It reduces the size of the opening to your stomach. Making smaller bites feel like much larger bites... your 'pouch' abive the band is not to be 'filled' as a stomach would; it is to slow your eating down.... banded since 2013.

I need help making a meal plan to lose 30-40 pounds.

Hi, I'm 39 years old and am having a lot of trouble losing weight. I need help making a meal plan that will help me lose 30-40 pounds, and I don't really care how boring it is, and the more specific it is the better (time to eat, exact quantities etc). I don't know if I should go to a dietician or if someone here can help me with a plan or point me in the right direction.

How do I stop emotional eating?

I eat when I am bored, I eat when I am tired, I eat when I am frustrated. I am constantly eating for reasons other than hunger. How do I stop? It's like it just slips under my radar and next thing I know, I have polished off a whole pie, or cookies or bag of potato chips.

I can’t walk up a flit or stairs or my best attempt at jogging for mere seconds without being out of breath
