Being over weight is like any other disability. Once the “skinny” people realize we are no different than someone with a handicap, stop staring and making hurtful comments we’ll all be better.
My mom taught us not to stare at people who were challenged and it was good advice.
Our lives are 10 times harder than those without a weight problem. We are scientist, chefs, personal trainers, statisticians, dietician, and human beings.
My advice is celebrate the victories right here with a team that understand the challenges and reach out to us when you fall short. No one here hasn’t been where you are right now. We understand and not judgmental.
Lastly becoming healthy should not scare you. It’s exciting watching your health improve pound by pound. The first step is stop being so hard on yourself make a plan A and a plan B and if necessary use the whole alphabet just keep moving forward. We got your back!

I attached a song which I used when I felt the “fear of change”

Hi nice to meet someone else that is trying to lose weight as much as I am. The only thing that I can say is try to eat healthier, exercise, and drink more water. The fat will not go away over night but it will come off. I know easier said than done and the struggle is real.
