I have alot of the same things except the COPD, I have fibromyalgia and degenerating discs too. I have a gym membership and use the pool, swimming is easy on the joints and you dont sweat while exercising. even if you can only be in for a half hour or so it does help or it helps me anyways, i hope this helps you

Hi Pat, the biggest reason I have noticed on people not losing or gaining weight after surgery is eating more calories than your body burns. When I worked in an office over 20 people had surgery to lose weight but over half if not more gained the weight back and some people weigh more than before their surgery. You really have to know how many calories your body needs to maintain and or lose weight. I believe having a food scale to measure everything and know how many calories is in the foods you eat is necessary. Hope this helps, I am not an expert but over the past 30 years I have seen and educated myself on nutrition especially concerning weight. I don't follow through for myself. Have an awesomely amazing day!

It is very hard to find what works to lose weight. These weight loss gimmicks is more about taking from your pocket than helping you lose weight, they are very convincing. Everyday I wake up it is another day to try again.
