Yes, I completely understand! I go to my chart and read my classification status of class 2 obesity. You ask your doctor about help with weight loss and they tell you to try weight watchers or some other weight loss center. Not even your health insurance company wants to assist you! I have cut out all sugars and 80 % of all processed foods and I still have issues with losing weight. At times I feel as if I’m a hamster on a constant wheel going around and around and will never because able to get off.😳
It's not so much the word obesity, but the morbid obesity that I have issues with, especially when they claim it's due to too many calories. I don't eat much of anything, as I don't have a hunger sensor any more. I have to remind myself to eat. I have to remember to drink 2 ensure max protein everyday so I at least get in the 60 grams of protein I'm supposed to have each day to help me loose weight. I know I don't get enough calories in, mostly because I have been having trouble with nausea for months now.
It wouldn't be such a crappie label if they didn't put it on the problem list multiple times! It makes it so you have no desire to see what problems you have written in your chart. 😠
Why do providers think they have to tell you the obvious so many times?🙄 I know I'm obese, I have been for most of my life and providers pointed it out all the time, but never gave me any suggestions on how to loose it, except the unhelpful ones.😠🐧
Well for starters it begin with the big O and is a word that in many cases people relate to being lazy!
is there any hope for sustained weight reduction ? all the research highlights rebounding weight or failure for people in the category its depressing
Not really, no. But, it depends on if it's my doctor discussing my weight or someone else referring to my size.
