Yes definitely I’m honest with my doctors (I have a team that treat my many illnesses). Your doctor is right about 4 pounds lost per month. If you lose 1 to 2 pounds per week you are more likely to SUSTAIN it. I rather lose slow and keep it off then yo-yo up and down. It also depends on how obese you are, It took me 6 months to lose 50 pounds. And now the weight is coming off slower because now I weigh less. I started at 337. I need to lose 100 more pounds and it will likely take more than a year. We must remain patient and consistent in our war against obesity. Best wishes and good luck to you
