Where To Turn? What To Do?
A MyObesityTeam Member asked a question đź’

Hi there
I have not been on this site for a while, but have missed it. My mom was sick, and passed away in January of this year. I am not good AT ALL at loving myself. I love others, and want nothing but good for them, but I tend to sabotage myself. I would like to keep in touch with others who might be feeling the same way. I am 53, weigh 240, and I’m only 5’3” tall. I feel like I’m older than I really am. I am premenopausal, and that’s not helping me any. I want to be positive for… read more

Gastric Bypass (Roux-en-Y)
A MyObesityTeam Member asked a question đź’

I'm only 18 and I weigh 347 pounds. I was considering GBP. I've struggled with my weight all my life (weighing a whopping 210 at 8 years old). I'm graduating high school soon and am ready to start a new chapter, so that means being healthy. Should I do it? Or do I have better options?

A MyObesityTeam Member asked a question đź’

I have arthritis in my back that has been treated with injections. I've even had the nerve endings in the L3-L5 region in my back burned and had a cortisol shot in my s1 region. I've told her several times that I'm usually an active person, but pain makes me not want to be active. I need relief. Any suggestions. I've already considered… read more
